This is a great thread! As Colin pointed out, there's been quite a response to the poll. It's pretty clear that a PP challenge is something that people have wanted to see for a while.

I've just made an FTP space available for Dave & Colin that will make uploaded files publicly accessible from within the cambridgeincolour.com domain. Downloads from this FTP will be unlimited and and files should transfer pretty quickly. Hopefully this will make the PP challenge mechanics more straightforward. Any alternatives/feedback are welcome. Been away for a bit so I'm still playing catch-up.

I'm not quite sure what the aggregate bandwidth usage will end up being for a publicly accessible RAW, but hey, we're in the experimental phase so it's worth a try. I'll watch it closely. Ideally someone would have an sRAW2 file for everyone to play with, but that's probably constraining it too much... I think we'll be fine if we just make sure that it's not a medium format digital back RAW

    Indeed there has been ...

... although I think someone "added and adjusted" the last poll option a bit later. Can't name names, but I know it wasn't Dave or Sean

But how do you explain the spatter pattern? Where were you at that exact time?
