Hand Held Pano
Stream entering lake near Bandon, Oregon...
The widest lens I had with me at the time was the 24-70mm f/2.8L on a 1.6x camera. An equivalent focal length of 38.4mm is really not quite wide enough for a lot of scenes. However a hand held pano at 24mm solved the problem.
I now use a 17-55mm f/2.8 IS lens as my mid-range zoom and back it up with a 12-24mm f/4 Tokina. However, a hand held pano is still a great way to provide a wider left to right coverage,,,

Re: Hand Held Pano
I've never managed a hand help pano, so well done Richard. I did quite well with a snubby type prime, but nothing else. The parallax cannot be corrected by software with my current lenses.
