Re: First Attempts Tamron 60mm Macro
Jason, Welcome to the world of macro. All great shots demonstrating both the quality of this lens and your technique but No 2 is my favourite.
Tamron have certainly got a good reputation for their macros and some say they are on a par with the Nikon equivalents.

Great shots Jason. #2 is my favorite, but #4 gets honorable mention since I'm a dog lover

Re: First Attempts Tamron 60mm Macro
I think #2 and #4 illustrate the capabilities of this lens. I am in the same phase with my 90mm Tammy, I have found that is excellent for macros (Duhhh!) and quite capable for portraiture. I am still struggling to control depth of focus and have learned that a homemade plamp is a godsend. I'm sure you will become friendly with stacking, I generally find that CS4 is adequate for the job.
