Hairy Woodpecker
Caught this little guy on the way to work this morning. I don't see many Hairy woodpeckers, they always turn out to be a Downy. The Hairy is about twice the size and has a longer bill. Otherwise identical. C&C always welcome.

Re: Hairy Woodpecker
Nice image Paul. I haven't seen either a Hairy or Downy in Florida. I see a lot of Red-bellied, and yesterday I saw a Pileated. Keep shooting my friend.

Thanks Joe, we have the Red breasted Sapsucker and the Piliated as well. I have yet to get a good shot of the Pileated.
