Wonderful capture... Just wondering what the black area at the side of the bird's left (right side of image) iris is from?

Richard, I have noticed this before in some of the close ups. I think it is some sort of minor bleed in the eye. Not sure what would cause this, if it is temporary or not.

Thank you Sean, I am finding just a bit of practice on technique and I nicely weighted setup makes a world of difference.
