My first panorama
Mostly posting this just to share, but C&C is always welcome. This was 5 pictures stitched together in Photoshop Elements using the Auto option. This is the first of 5 sets that I took. This one worked well in stitching. Two more that I tried have slight "cracks" in the stitching so I'm working on fixing those.

Re: My first panorama
IMO this works a lot better than if you had used a wide focal length to capture the scene...

Re: My first panorama
Thanks Richard and Bobo. This was a long exposure before sunrise. It was part of my weekend photography class. You know, since we were there specifically to take a panorama, I didn't even check to see if my 18mm would have gotten the whole shot.

Re: My first panorama
Terri, the Garden of the Gods is a great place to begin. I grew up in Colo. Springs and would love to go back and photograph there sometime. Your photo looked very nice when I clicked on it and made it larger. Thanks for sharing.

Re: My first panorama
Is that Garden of the Gods? If so, would that be Pike's Peak in the background? Nice Panorama!

Re: My first panorama
Thanks Chuck for the compliment. I am looking forward to revisiting Garden of the Gods many times. There are a lot of photo opportunities there.
Yes, Frank, that is Pikes Peak. I also have a few shots of Pikes Peak framed by these rock structures in Garden of the Gods. They aren't all that great but I really look forward to returning when there is snow on Pikes Peak to try again.
