Another Praying Man in B&W

Tucked away in an alleyway in Bur Dubai is a small Hindu temple. This man was deep in prayer before entering.

Normally, I like an image to have extra room in the direction that the subject is facing. However, I think that this works quite well in this case because of all the interesting signs in this environmental portrait.

I agree that normally you would want to have more room in the direction that the subject is facing, but the main thing that fixed it for me was the fact that there's an arrow pointing in the opposite direction on the sign. What's intriguing about this photo is that it causes a strange symmetry to it that I like.

Thanks guys. There was nothing of interest to the left, and the signs and notices on the right were of interest (lots of adverts for 'devotees') so I wanted to include them as well.
