Rainbows can be very difficult to capture, particularly with a pleasing foreground. You have not only managed to get all of that, but a double rainbow as well. Very Nice!
And what a nice composition you were able to achieve with it too!
Oh I love that. Very good in capturing that.
That is one great capture well worth the soaking.

Brilliant, has it all.
Excellent indeed. I can almost see four elfs in all four edges!
These are soo cool! A friend noticed once that it really isn't a double rainbow -but a rainbow and it's REFLECTION.
HOW COOL IS THAT?
As the art major, I was humbled. I never noticed it before.
Thanks for posting.
I would be willing to get VERY wet for a shot like that... might need a raincoat for my camera though:> Beautiful shot!!
The foreground layers and the light on them make this image SO appealing. Great capture and post-processing.
Really nice image. Beautiful colors.
Did you find the pot of gold at either end?
ok Steve
we can fancy how you found the location, you set up the camera, the point of view, you waited the right light etc...
but how on earth did you let the rain fall after your set up???
congratulations, this is really a shot I would like to emulate!
I echo all of the above comments. What a treasure to have seen it and captured the image. I'm jealous Steve.
Thanks everyone for commenting. Shots like this are simply being in the right place at the right time. This is the only time i've seen a rainbow and been in a place with a pleasing backgound.
The hard part is trying to get a composition in a couple of minutes , before it is all gone. And trying not to panic too much when you have to keep cleaning the water off your lens.
I was rushing all over, trying to find something to put in the foreground, only to find it was a distraction to the rainbow.
After cleaning the lens one last time, i settled on this compostion, and then it was all gone.
AWESOME rainbow! this is the first time ive seen a double rainbow picture before. and the foreground is FANTASTIC!! because of getting wet, you are rewarded with an AMAZING picture.
