Young elephant

During an early morning game drive we found ourselves in the company of a herd of elephants, that were quietly feeding as they slowly moved around us through the bush. While we sat in their company some entertainment was provided by this young elephant that really was full of the joys of life, he ran past us with such gay abandon that we had to laugh. The image shows him in full flight and I swear there is a little grin on his face.

Yes, I want one of these too! It's amazing that they look so little and cute and they are born at something like 250 lbs! I think he is grinning too! And why not, it feels good to run around when you are young. My only concern about the pix is the lighting. What time of day is it? There seems to be a lot of yellow/red. How did you get all of his feet in focus?

Yes, having two feet off the ground and tail straight out really gives a sense of movement.
