Hello Everyone,
My name is Doris. I am from Michigan and I love Photography. Last year I bought myself a Nikon D3100 digital camera. I have been self teaching myself how to take pictures. My goal now is to travel and I would like to learn to take beautiful pictures. I hope I posted this on the right forum!

Most of us use our real name here. If you want to do that, you can go to Edit Profile and enter your proper name under 'Real Name'. Then it will appear underneath your Username in all your posts, as I have done myself. You can also enter your location so that it does the same. Then we all know where everyone is in the world.

Once again it's great to have you on board and I look forward to seeing your pictures.

Nice to hear about your new hobby.
Same here, got a D3100 last year and mostly self-learning photography from books, internet and this wonderful website. Presently visiting my son in Montreal and taking pictures of Montreal, Quebec.
