I've seen that hand before!
Immediate thought - Artwork for a poster for a new 'zombie' movie, 'Return of the Killer Chillies'. Maybe that one they shot in Glasgow, with Brad Pitt (is it out yet?), where George Square was turned into a US city (road signs, traffic lights, road markings, etc all changed). Just needs the text inserted.
Wonderfully imaginative and creative stuff, coupled to an obviously high level of technical ability (much higher than me) ... again.

Thanks Donald,
The hand ( which weighs a tonne ) fell on my bare foot during the above fun. I am hoping not to have to explain that one in A&E later. :/
..and all the chillies above and many, many more were grown on the window ledge this year ..in good ol' Scotland. I might try grape vines next year.
Great creativity, Sharon. I am always amazed at how people come up with these ideas. Must be one of the recessive genes in my body! Really nicely processed. Not sure why you gave it the film strip sprocket holes.
Thanks Ken, there's a fine line between creativity and lunacy !
Why the sprocket holes?...same boring answer as always I am afraid. I played about with no border, a traditional border and this border..loaded them all onto flicker then looked at them. This one looked by far the best in a side by side comparison..the others looked unfinished .... and didn't express what I had in my mind.
I don't know of any other way to make these decisions except by what feels right to me.
Feels like it's time, again, for the Wee Kirkcudbright Centipede story ...................
There's one of those lovely, silly little folk songs that we are renowned for. It's called 'The Wee Kirkcudbright Centipede'.
Basically the story is that this wee centipede was a sensational dancer. His 100 legs moved in beautiful harmony and weaved the most amazing dance patterns. Until someone asked him to analyse and explain what he did and how he did it.
The result was that he thought about it and lost all his natural rhythm and timing. His legs got all tangled up and he broke about half of them. And he never danced again.
Sometimes it's right not to analyse. Just keep doing it.

I intend to keep dancing until my clogs fall off.
I need you to design my studio shots. You are SO creative and, as Donald mentioned, you also have such great technical skills.
Haa..if I have ANY technical skills I must have absorbed them through Osmosis but kind of you guys to say.
I just bought a lensbaby composer with 4 optics..this means I need to shoot in Manual , choose my apertures physically and actually drop them in.
It is already such fun straight out of the box and I am hoping it will make me 'feel' the technical side as well as the creative.
This was a fun shot....but I think I could enjoy this experience.
I do have a shape in the dark...honestly. lol
The grip has changed! You've now got the support hand underneath instead of on top.
Very cool, I"m not sure about the fire tho --maybe dark smoke from the fire instead? Blueish black to balance the red of the peppers and the can? I don't know --just musing.
Now, you have me thinking about what else I can photograph on my desktop DIY studio!
Thanks.
Hmmmmmmm. Considering all your complaints about rain, I expected to see at least a little rust.
Oh, it's there Mike...believe me but I'm not posting a pic of my knees for anybody!! lol
