Uk sunrise competion 31st Aug 2012

Hi peeps,

Right I need a sunrise shot taken in the uk on the 31st Aug, the reason being is that it's my 10 year wedding anniversary on this day and I would like a shot of the sun rising on this day too have put on to canvas for my wife.

Now landscape is not my thing, I shoot sports !!

So I am offering it out on here as a competion with a cash prize, here are the rules....

Shot MUST be taken on the 31st Aug 2012

Shot must be suitably edited

Must be shot in the uk

Exit data must be supplied

Shot must include the morning sun

Location or background not important

All efforts too be uploaded on too here no later than 18:00 hrs on 31st Aug for voting

Winning image too be emailed too myself once prize has been issued via bank transfer

Hope this is ok by the mods but I'm desperate, lol

Hey Paul - I'd love to help you out - but from the other side of the pond! What if I shoot the image in Cambridge, or London..... Ontario??? Will that count??

Paul: I can shoot it in Peterborough, Whitby, Newcastle, Darlington, Northumberland, Alnwich, I do not want to go to Cambridge or London as Andrew has those covered.

Sadly I was on holiday until Sept 1st, otherwise I'd have happily got up and traveled to Hampshire to a location of your choice perhaps and attempted some shots for you. Perhaps I can do one for your 11th anniversary instead

I can't believe no-one rose to this challenge... ...i'm guessing the 2 day warning wasn't enough time for some people to set their alarm clocks

Having thought about it, I think it would have meant a lot more to you and your wife if you had shot the photograph. You had a couple of days to do a bit of research into basic landscape composition. Why didn't you DIY?!
