    Re: London

Thanks Kevin; I think the problem was that I was out at 6:30am but up at 4am because some hotel guests were very noisy, had then been soaked 3 times and it was about 8pm.

That might also be the reason the image looks soft. I don't know if I could move easily because of a step, but I could have moved.

Good idea Nandakumar; it is going to be a lot, but not near what was planned because of torrential wet stuff.

Can't seem to get this one right; I want the whole street but can't help feeling this is accidently a photo of a bloke. I waited but no luck because it just got busier.

Also I notice a lot of dispersion I forgot to remove, but this is an L type so maybe DPP might work.

Look at that; it's different but understated.

Its got a bell in it so it's called Bell St. Would look nicer with the lights on.

Actually thought this was going to be my first good one, but at least I've got a few which works out at a couple a day so far.

If you squint you can see Camden Lock High St, which I find rather amazing because it's a photo. Looks like they sell antique Singer sewing machines.

Now you know the date; what's that place in the window, can see it from anywhere. Wasn't going to get off the #15 here but as I did I bumped into a couple of tourists with top of the range Nikon cameras taking pics of a Chelsea Pensioner.
I had a 70-200mm on so I could have got a pic of his nose.

Looks expensive; I had to find somewhere for a dinner Friday night but everywhere except pizza places ect nearby were closed. I went into a little grubby cafe near the hotel and ordered something for £9.95 thinking that is how much it costs.

On the next table were three chaps complaining about waiting for an hour and then getting all three courses together, but when they finished they argued that they shouldn't leave a big tip, because good food is worth paying for and this wasn't good food.

They left £50 TIP; my heart sank and when I got my bill for £15.41 I rounded it up to £15.45. The waitress asked 'what's this' and I said keep the change and scarpered.
