Hi Bruce; I was on the number 15 bus from Tower Gateway on my way to Fleet Street when I noticed a reflection of a Dome in a building and just had to get off. Unfortunately I couldn't find that reflection again and only had my 70-200mm f4 L with me, a lens I adore but can't seem to get used to for landscape photography.

It is of course St Pauls Cathedral; where photography is banned unfortunately.

I would like to know what that place in 666 is on the first page. I'm a bit disapointed with a print I've done of it though, because it is lower contrast than my screen and for the first time I noticed a womans face in the bottom right. My Photoshop and IE9 look about the same but I viewed it in Firefox and that looks like the print.

I'm going to have to increase the contrast in the print because she is a tad distracting. Cheers Bruce.

I finally tracked down your photo of the Razor. What an extraordinary building! And what a wonderful collection of photos - I hope there's more to come.

First OOF that is corrected by Topaz Infocus.
Steve, my recollection from the deconvolution thread is that you (like me) had not had much success with InFocus. What was different this time: increasing practice with InFocus, the photo or maybe just pure luck?

I think maybe it was because it was only just out of focus Bruce. My Tamron lens doesn't auto focus and I guess distances, but I'm not very good at guessing distances and sometimes it gets to be OOF. In this case I think the clock must be less than 23 metres away.

My L type does auto focus but I still get distances wronge; in one of Bankside #13 I assumed everything bar a light was going to be more than 65 metres away, but again I think maybe I'm focused on something a lot closer, say 20 metres for another guess.

    Re: London

I've been printing some; it is hard to find print worthy pics since these are more internet stuff. But I've printed #0 straight no problems, had to increase contrast on #666 and sharpen, #26 is great straight out but the Shard #23 had to be completely redone because of sharpening artifacts introduced by Topaz Infocus.

I noticed in the News somebody found a severed head in Regents Canal, that sort of thing puts me off water a bit.

I've found that acutance sharpening before printing improves the look of buildings, but I try to keep to 16bit if I can and so use Topaz InFocus but only sharpening 0.6 pixels and play with the other slider with regard to amount. Cheers

    Too many drinks

I've been looking at some professional images of London I thought well, I don't know

Don't know what to do with this; I was going to take it further back on a longer lens but a van full of hoodies was parked in the way.

    London

    London

    any ideas?
