I was having a quiet cup of coffee on a warm August morning when I noticed a colorful bit of geometry on the half open sundeck door: a square of deep burgundy, a white rectangle, and a golden circle that reflected part of our backyard. My chance discovery led to several semi-abstract photos, two of which are attached here.
