Image that pulled on my heart strings today

    Hi everyone,

Today was a very inspirational, highly motivated and creative day all rolled into one (mainly due to the papers I was advised to read in here last night).

With my itchy trigger finger I went on the hunt for things that captured my attention on a cold, wet, very windy day. I crashed a random kids party in the park and with permission from the parents I began shooting (images of this are in my albums). 300 or so shots later I was driving home and saw this dog just sitting at the front fence. It evoked such a powerful emotion I had to stop and ask permission to capture it.

I feel that perhaps what I saw and felt is not quite displayed in the image, and would really like some feedback.

oh, yes, this is lovely. Poor puppy, he is probably smelling the wind more than he is feeling lonely --I hope so anyway. I really like the detail you were able to capture. His coat looks so soft!

He was soft, and friendly too. He bought me his blanket and his chewed up pot plant ... and considering I was on the outside of the property he accepted me being there very easily.

It was like he was waiting for something though, as he kept looking down the road.

    Thanks for the encouragement Gretchen

After chewing up pot plants, there may be another explanation for his melancholy look

    Thanks Kevin,

I got a few more of this old fella that I totally adored. I wasn't sure that flooding the site was appropriate. However, I'm happy to put them up if you would like to see them
