Contrived but fun

I spotted this interactive screen while at Dulles International Airport near Washington, DC and couldn't resist asking my wife to play along with the scene.

Not sure I 'get' the picture though, she is interacting with an interactive screen...isn't that what she would do?
I am probably missing some obvious irony or wit here and am gonna look a right fool...ah, nowt new there then!! lol

Long sufferin', yes. Mrs. B., yes. But "B" is for Brassfield. not Buckley. We jokingly call ourselves the B Team.

You "got" it. There's not much to get, which is why I think it looks contrived. Perhaps the fact that I posed the image makes it seem to me that it's overly contrived, whereas maybe that's not the case for others viewing it.
