Re: Mirror mirror...
Sharon,
your work is always surprising me! what an artistic view you have!
about that specific image, that i do like a lot, I would like to see how it "sounds" without the texture on the flower. It should increase the feeling that it is mirroring itself on that surface...
just a thought...
cheers

Re: Mirror mirror...
Sharon there are only two things wrong with your image, 1) how are you going to beat it, and 2) nothing.
Cheers:

Re: Mirror mirror...
One of your very best. BUT...you owe me, as the texture that you used scratched my monitor.

Re: Mirror mirror...
Thank you everyone..it really isn't complicated.
It was a shot of 2 osteospermum flowers growing back to back and with just a small gap in between. It was nice enough but did not ring my bells so I played about with a few textures and ended up using a slight Daguerrotype and a Smudge texture blended with the original ...this was the result and I thought it told a bit of a story and was much more pleasing to my eye.
It's just about the 'mix'...no magic involved.

Great effect Sharon, just OOOH and AHHHH of admiration from this side of the ocean. And a lot of head scratching: how does she do it. You do make me smile in appreciation. Well done.
