Blocks, Shadows and Reflections
Hi all,
This is a photo of something I have taken before, but I managed to lose the original photo so I went out and tried again. This one is of the same object but on the other side of the dam and from a bit of a different perspective. It is also taken with a completely different lens, the original was with the kit 55-200mm and this one was taken with the Tamron 60mm Macro. I have converted to B&W as I think it brings out more it the image. Any C&C welcome.
Cheers
J

Hi Jason, I think you image have potential but the current version is too busy.
I would experiment with different tighter crops and tonalities.

I REALLY like this concept. If you could clone out the dark parts on the upright triangles --the ones on the far end that merge with the triangle shadow --that would help a lot. Or just crop out the 4th triangle to the right all together and just fix the dark spot ont he 3rd. That would help make it less busy.
Good Eye!

Hey Guys,
Thank you very much for the feedback, I will have another look at the image and put your thoughts into practice.
