I was driving around today and found this old beauty proudly displayed in someones front yard. Hopefully I can use it as a prop in a few photos to come.

It is literally a 5 minute walk from my front door to this beauty and the ducks are in the middle. I wonder how ducks go being mustered by an over excited Lhasa apso and a crazy one year old maltese nutter?

It was just past sundown Mike, it got very dark in about 10 minutes, and it was my first session with this type of lighting.

The wheels have a metal band on them, and it is very rusty (I'm presuming this is why it is so prominent in B&W)

I think you nailed it. Great job!

I wonder if it would help to select the wood and add more contrast to bring out the interesting grain and texture. Maybe, maybe not.

You could have hours of fun with that. Will the owners let you get up close so you can start looking at what options there are for just going for parts of it rather than the whole thing?

Fabulous news Donald. The owners have given me permission to use it as often as I like. All I need to do is offer them any really good shots
