Re: Stained Glass Window St Albans Cathedral
Hi David,
This is a very nice capture - better than I would manage, I am sure.
I have to be quite picky to even suggest the following;
It might benefit from a slight anti-clockwise rotation
There's a small amount of converging verticals
I wonder if it would stand being a touch brighter?
However, it certainly shows the glass colours very well as it stands.
Cheers,

Re: Stained Glass Window St Albans Cathedral
I think it is very good; but I would still like to see it a little brighter.

i would add also to brightening the image up slightly and maybe a touch more saturation and contrast, with a slight left shift, i know the building well as i used to live nearby

Re: Stained Glass Window St Albans Cathedral
Getting both the glass and stonework right is a very difficult item. If you could I would suggest, and it is a very intensive undertaking, that you copy a new layer, apply a mask to the glass only on that layer, then rework the layer for the stone only, using the glass from the orginal layer, after the stone rework. BTDT (been there, done that)
Love the blending that you did to get that glass.
Cheers:
Allan
