I am meaning the Lytebox feature here on CiC - although it is possible you may not be able to see it - it doesn't work for everyone it seems.

What happens if you click on the image in your post above?

For me, the background darkens and the image can be 'click held' and dragged to the edge of the monitor, then released, as a means to 'preview' alternate crops.

Maybe so - and I agree it's a beautiful memento for her relatives. That said, I would greatly object to have a similar picture of me or one of my relatives on public display.
Just my 2 cents.

Kris, I'm not pimping this picture for public display or for any commercial purpose. One of the mantras of this group is to give amateur photographers like myself feedback. I understand that this is a public group but a public group of people who take photography seriously. I just wanted feedback on the quality of this photo and how I might make it better. The photo's final destination is just with me and a few family members. At least this was the spirit behind this photo's posting.

If this were a model posing it would be a great shot. As a family record it is also a great shot but not for publication. Personally I would leave it exactly as it is, it works; it is an image I suspect all of us who have seen will always remember. (I just hope no-one takes a picture of me like that.)
