Rod Deutchmann books ???????

Came across a very interesting book. “Painting With A Lens” by Rod & Robin Deutchmann.
Available from Amazon at $26.56

The introduction to this book fascinated me. He asks the question what you would say if he said that encouraging photographers to do Post Processing is just a way of increasing sale of equipment. He asks what you would say if he said, to achieve the effects you want can be done in camera.

Has anyone ever heard of the Deutchmann’s and San Diego In Focus Learning Centre?
Do you think their books are worth buying?

I would say that blind biased statements like that would cause me to lose total respect for him and his opinions.

I did a little searching on Deutchmann, seeing nobody wants to touch this thread. Seems the Deutchmanns are reasonably sucsessful in what they are doing. Both award winning Photographers. Follow the link:
