More from Saint Albans Cathedral
Slowly working my way through a day out at St Albans Cathedral. C&C welcome.
Image edited in LR4 exported to CS5 and a new luminosity layer added after conversion to monochrome in SE 2.
Regards

Re: More from Saint Albans Cathedral
Maybe it's my monitor but seems to be a lot of noise in the image. Is the sharpness cranked?

Re: More from Saint Albans Cathedral
Further noise reduction applied to image via Imagenomic - Noiseware Version 5.
Has this worked ??

Re: More from Saint Albans Cathedral
I think selective noise reduction is required if your going to print above A4 size; but apart from that you seem to have got it.

Re: More from Saint Albans Cathedral
Many thanks all. The image has been pushed hard in processing, which has produced the noise in the shadow and dark areas. I had to try and maintain detail in the stained glass window and plain window above the door. Quite a challenge ... The image was taken very quickly and ops I underexposed by three stops in error and failed to check on camera data.. not like me but I was under pressure to depart for home by other photographers with me...
I am more than happy with the end result and thank you all for getting me there.
Regards
David
