Re: Sunset & Sunrise practice
These have worked well, particularly considering the fairly high Iso settings.
Possibly the first one is a fraction overexposed.
The second is perfect.
I wonder about a very slight crop from the bottom and right side of number 3 to reduce the area of shadow.
The last is good, but I would consider cloning out the two items in the bottom right corner to give better balance.

Re: Sunset & Sunrise practice
Geoff,
Thank you for your comments, I was thinking the same, I was unsure as there are too many pixels in view on first pic, I was amazed by the colours I was getting, using AV in hindsight I may have gone for shutter instead,

Re: Sunset & Sunrise practice
Av to control the aperture, and the depth of sharp focus, is definitely the best approach with these shots. Just beware of ending up with too slow a shutter speed for hand held shots, or use a tripod.
Also watch for any subject movement with slow shutter speeds, but that wasn't an issue here.

Re: Sunset & Sunrise practice
Geoff,
I used a tripod, but missed the ISO and shutter speeds, too engrossed in the colours I was seeing !
