Bateleur Eagle

An image taken at a local raptor centre. I am not one who really likes to see any bird
notf flying free, but I was given a birthday present of an "Owl Experience", and the event
also had the opportunity to see some eagles from all over the worls. At the end of the day when
listening to the park rangers, often these birds are either bred in a captive state, or even brought
to the centre from all areas having been hurt or some other event.

I will take your word, Ivor, that this bird really looks like this and hasn't dressed up in a feather boa just prior to going out somewhere posh!
