I wondered about cropping it at the bottom (to something like a 2:1 ratio) so that we lose that first strip of roadway right at the bottom and so that the bottom of the frame is the grass.
At the moment we have it, from the bottom, as road, grass, road, grass, building, trees. I wonder if cutting out that first strip of roadway would simplify it a bit?Last edited by Donald; 26th September 2012 at 06:22 PM.

Or if you want to keep the same size ratio I think you could just about get away with cropping a little from the sides. Possibly a mixture of crop plus a little bit of cloning.
The autumn tints certainly make this a brighter scene.

All, thanks for the comments. I only took this shot but would like to get back at a later date for some up-close work. The place is only about 15 minutes from my house.
Attached is a 2:1 crop. I think it looks better. Thanks again for the C&C.
