it was a week or so ago in france, i used a bad tense.

Did you time that by hand or have some trigger? Are the apparent ripples at the base the same droplet during the second delayed flash, or is it part of the surface the drop is falling onto with the flashes going at the same time?

I timed it by hand.The drop is falling from a sink faucet into a swirled glass plate.Both flashes were fired at once.If I remember correctly,I had one flash directly on camera right at 3 o'clock position and the other was camera left at about 8 o'clock position.

Thanks for the comments.My next try at this I'm going to set up a drip tube.Using a water faucet is hard to get the right speed for the drops.A tube will give me better control.
