That building in the middle of the three at the waterfront is very famous (if you have any interest in traditional Scottish accordian dance band music). It's the Mishnish Hotel, owned by the late Bobby MacLeod, one of the greatest ever exponents of a button key accordian.

That is a completely new and inspirational take on Tobermory harbour.

We enjoyed a guid few drams in the well stocked Mishnish last week and it is good to know it's history..thank you.

For some reason on opening this I immediately thought of 'Turner' the artist. Not sure why as I'm certainly no art expert or critic. The mind does do strange things at times...............

Mike...as I have said before it's too simple for a tutorial.

Original pic plus one or 2 textures blend and rotate until desired effect is achieved. I don't even use photoshop. The only difficult bit is knowing what textures will work with what subjects and that's just trial and error.
