Onion Seller
This is what I love my 35 for - environmental portraits where there's nice light. The light from outside the market on the onions made me think there might be a nice photo op, and the stall keeper made it for me.

The light - on his feet, his hands and his face and on the onions - is just wonderful. And just to help it along, you made a great composition of it.

Most of my posts are too long, so I won't provide a list of everything there is to like about this image. This might be my favorite of all your very nice images. It really is the epitome of environmental portraiture.

Thanks Donald and Mike. It's a nice feeling when you know you're onto a winner when your finger's pressing the shutter. I like the colour version, but converting to B&W makes it better and more focused I think.
