Sorry Clive, still no image.
If you haven't yet go to the FAQ and follow the link to "how do I post images here"
I use Tiny pic's and don't have any problems.
Hope this helps.
Cheers Greg
would love to but no image, try what i just posted on my 3 babies thread below.
Hi Greg, thanks for looking - sorry still no image. Went through the FAQ and used tiny pics. I must be missing something but I can't see what. So I don't know what the problem is. I guess I'll just have to try again.
Cheers Clive
Hi Clive...I like it, it's quirky!
Such a shame that the wing is clipped on the right as a little space would have made a lot of difference.
I like different perspectives....let's see more.
Clive, an interesting photo. I like the use of the mirror but I keep looking for the focal point in the image.
Maybe too many competing elements?
As Sharon said a little more room on the right and personally, I'm not a big fan of watermarks.
I'm looking forward to see more of your work.
Welcome aboard
I think it took a sharp observant eye to spot this image and capture it. However the hugh watermark is a big distraction and takes away from an otherwise clever photo. Keep them coming Clive.
Sorry about the watermark - with all the massing about getting the image posted, I forgot to take it off. Thanks for the comments. I agree it's a shame about the wing being clipped, but I was lining up for the two birds sat on the mirror when one decided to fly off. I wasn't quite quick enough to get the ideal composition.
Ditto other comments, but it's a great start.
Any comments ?
Lalit
Hello. I don't think I previously had the chance to welcome you onto CiC.
I can understand if you thought this was a thread for in which all first posts could be made. The thread title would maybe suggest that.
However, that is not the case. If you are posting a new image on which you would like people to comment, you should start a new thread. For example, in this section (People and Pets) you would click on the shaded box near the top left of the window '+ post New Thread'. This allows you to give your thread a title and then to write your message and insert your image.
You will also find that more people are likely to respond if you are able to say more about your image and what sort fo feedback you are seeking. Please read this thread to help you with that - How to Get Effective Feedback for your Posted Images.
Finally - It will also be useful if you are able to insert your images into to your posts instead of them just being thumbnails at the bottom. To understand the full process of doing that, please read - HELP THREAD: How can I post images here?.
Welcome Clive, you have a good eye and I will look forward to seeing more from you. Nice shot.
