It's now the Fall Season
So I shot a Fall image of one of our rescue puppies...
She is Bernadette's (My Tasmanian Devil's) daughter and is about 8 weeks old. We know that she has Maltese in her and we suspect that she may also have Llasa Apso or Shih Tsu.

Re: It's now the Fall Season
Richard - I always love your photos and stories. This IMHO is one of your best ever. I think its because of the warmer tones. Since this little girl is not pure white, the fall colours really compliment her and I love the pose. I want to hop on the next plane to California and bring her home with me.

Re: It's now the Fall Season
The personality of a puppy has a lot to do with the quality of the image. This little girl's sister is shy and she cowered when we set up to shoot her picture. Here is the best shot I was able to get of the sister...
The ears of a puppy tell you when it is scared. When scared the ears tend to be pulled back towards the head as with the ears of this pup...

Re: It's now the Fall Season
It's not often I look very long at pet shots Richard but this one definitely gets your attention. Nice pose, great colours in the foreground and the first one is quite crisp. Well done on the first one..

If those shots don't find homes for these rescues, nothing will. Wonderful!!! Great colors. Sharp and great composition. Love that first shot best....but my heart goes to the shy one!!

Both shots are just too cute. I love the color saturation and the clarity in them. Well done, Richard.
