No offence Ryan, but those eyes concern me. I'd tone down the saturation a touch. It looks from the EXIF data as if the vibrance in a touch high too.

On a positive note, despite on camera flash, you've avoided redeye

Phil, I usually shoot one or two shots per camera using the onboard flash. I do this when I am generally checking out the camera and want to ensure that the onboard camera works. I was checking out my original DSLR, a Canon 10D when one of my dogs was jumping up on my knee. I shot her, not realizing that the onboard flash was popped up and activated.

The strange thing is that from this close of a distance, the onboard flash did not cause the traditional glowing eyes in the dog.

I suspect that when shooting from this close a distance, the relative angle between the flash and the optical center of thelens was greater than when shooting from a further distance and thus the flash reflecting back from the dog's retina did not pass though the lens onto the sensor.

This might be what avoided red eye in the boy's image...
