Rainy day in Stockholm C&C
Hi there,
This is my first post in this forum and also the first time I post a photo for comments and critiques. I've been taking photos for about 3 years, but didn't have time to really practice. Now that I'm done with college, I feel like getting back to it and really learn to take good pics.
About this shot:
I love B&W and street photography, so I went for a walk in Stockholm to try to take pictures of the streets in this beautiful city on a rainy day. Looking at this image I feel I missed capturing some movement of the people in the street. Anyways, I would really appreciate any suggestions, comments, and critiques
Camera settings:
Shutter speed: 1/125s; aperture: f/3.5; ISO 400 (lens - Sigma 30mm f1.4)

Nice image, you need to change shutter speed to 1/60s to get the blurred effect of movement and also to see the rain.

needs some more contrast for me, it feels a little grey the composition works well.

I recognise that spot!!
Nice image but agree that it would benefit from a contrast boost.
Have a look at the histogram. Apart from the spike extreme right which represents the shop signs, the histogram is flat on the highlights half.

Thank you all for your comments. I really appreciated them. I will play a bit with the image and see how the histogram changes.
