Found this on my pepper plant today.
Tobacco Hornworm (Manduca sexta) parasitized by braconid wasps.
The wasp deposits eggs under the skin of the worm.It lives until the wasps reach this stage.

This is very cool! I love finding stuff like this! My friends and family are starting to call my bug lady now!
I can't give you any "technical" pointers....I don't know enough yet
... But I think it looks very nice!

Very nice. It took me almost a minute to notice the big worm. It is very well camouflaged.

Thanks,Kori.I enjoy photographing bugs.At the moment macro is the type of photography I'm most comfortable with.I'm just starting also.A lot to learn yet.

Hi John,
Reading some about the braconid wasps,they are at the top of the list for control of the Hornworm.
