Re: high peak mountain
Hi Sam, end your image line with [/IMG] and it should display for you.

Hi Sam,
I fixed the IMG tag for you.

My thoughts;
Good exposure, nothing seems blown, in fact a little the other way, if you review a histogram, it doesn't get anywhere near as bright as it might (given you have sunlit clouds in the scene). Level 220 (in the blue channel) seems as bright as anything gets (from a range that extends to 255).
There's not really anything that's an obvious candidate as a subject though - there's a cottage roof and chimneys peeking through the trees, but we can't see enough of it. So the eyes wander around and then leave the image because there's nothing to hold the interest.
Hope that helps,

It is peaceful looking to me. I like that you did not restrict yourself to a traditional cropping. This pano-like crop shows off the scenery.
Unfortunately, pano images do not show up very well on forums because you need a really large version to get the proper effect...

Re: high peak mountain
A very pleasant scene to look at but as Dave points out, nothing to focus attention on so the eyes wander.
