Ground this morning

The ground this morning after a chilly night. C&C welcome.

Its not meant to be a macro highlighting the frost. I liked the fuzziness of the frost and the contrast of the leaves and the purplish ground cover.

I planned to do a shot like this but it was too cold. Nice image.

Fantastic shot Debbie, love the colors.

I think it could be benefit from some PP: some sharpening and perhaps a PP vignetting.

Lovely colors that are muted by the frost. A very nice image.

I especially like it since my area has just recovered from what were possibly the two hottest weeks of the year with temperatures around my home hovering at 100 degrees F.

I like the image. Nice mix of greens with the autumn colours, all edged with a rime of frost. I'm still waiting for the frosts in England, but it's getting steadily colder, so I'm guessing it won't be long.

Debbie, you have a real nice image here. I have trouble seeing enough details and it looks like there are too many light areas. I think the smallish image posted on this site hides the details. I know it is frost and suspect that you can see it very clearly at home. You don't have to change anything; I was just explaining what I see and why.
