Very very good composition and exposure John. Works great.
I'd suggest to burn the highlights on the left as I think distracts from the main subject and crop a tiny bit from the top.
I would be interesting to have such a pet but it's better for them to live in the forest where they belong.

That's a beautiful shot. I love the composition, the colors and the bright eyes. For me, the main subject was strong enough that I didn't even notice the highlights until Miltos pointed them out.

While I agree that the bright light on the left is not a major distraction, this image is so nice that it deserves being perfected.

Beautiful image! I am not distracted to any degree by the bright spot but, that should be easy to get rid of - a closer crop would probably be the easiest way to achieve this...

Pleased you like it, I prefer showing shots as taken, that is why I seldom shoot when there is going to be black shadows etc.
