A Bird Taken With A Different Approach

Was sitting on the dock this last week when I just took a picture with my one good hand I followed the bird with a rather slow shutter speed and this is what I got. I was going to delete it and then figured what the heck.

Hi Bob,

I like this. You've got the head and eyes pretty sharp, which I think is the most important thing when shooting any sort of wildlife. The effect on the rest of the bird is quite unusual and, as you say, makes for a different approach.

I think I would go for a tighter crop though.

I like the head and eyes visibility through the wing, kind of a frame. Too tight a crop may take away some of the motion and sense that the bird is flying, moving rather than static in the air?

Terrific exactly as is! Don't change a thing. And definitely do NOT go near your Delete key.

Thanks all for your replies, I'm having fun now finally, even with my right hand still in a cast. Mike, the delete key is way on the right side of the keyboard, so it's difficult to get to, so no problem.
