Re: String Lake and Ruffed Grouse
Yes, all worked well. The subdued light and colour produce a good Autumn feel to the scene.

Re: String Lake and Ruffed Grouse
Chuck, nice photos. I especially enjoyed the grouse photos. Many years ago I used to chase these guys around a lot in northern Iowa. Great bird to hunt and eat.

Beautiful colors and reflections in one and two. I also like the grouse.

Re: String Lake and Ruffed Grouse
I usually like a landscape orientation best on landscapes but in this case I think I like the portrait one better. Somehow it seems more dramatic and I think also the one mountain is not competing with the others for attention. It's entire reflection is in the water. Beautiful!

Re: String Lake and Ruffed Grouse
Thanks to all of you for your feedback. I hope to get back to this location under different light and cloud conditions (hopefully more dramatic ones). I'll keep trying and hopefully you will all provide C&C. Much appreciated. - Chuck
