Girls have transition ages --7 year olds are all the sudden social creatures --wanting to be with a best girl friend and not a parent. 13-16 year olds cannot be trusted, period. After that, well, you may have a cordial roommate or not.

As a mother of a son, I've thoroughly enjoyed watching my friends with their daughters. I am so thankful I did not have to go thru all that. It was hard enough going thru it as a daughter!!

That said, I love this picture. I might try to do what I could to clone out the lady walking in the background, darken her or just replace the background. I like that you presented this in B&W also! As an adult, I hate my little girl pictures in color. (no make-up--uneven skin tones --vanity, though art Woman!). She'll probably appreciate when she is my age.

You are lucky she does agree to have taken her photo of herself at all, my 20 year old Granddaughter, although she looks like a model, absolute refusing that I took photo's of her, as soon she see me with my camera, she looks away, big sigh......
