Ducks

Took these at the Botanic Gardens in Melbourne on Thursday and saw these ducks. No swans in sight. Must have been on holidays!

Hi Ken,

I think no.2 speaks a thousand more words than no.1. You know what I mean, in no.2 you got the exposure better than in no.1.
The colour in 1 may be a bit better but I think if a little more "vivid" was used in 2 the colour would have been great.

Both are good shots.

Ken, I think the revised #2 is better than the original #2 but my preference is probably still for #1 despite the dark feathers on the rear half of the duck.

Thank you for your comment Bruce. Much appreciated. Notice you are from Canada. Coincidence. Have just walked in the door less than 30 mins ago from delivering a Canadian friend, who had been staying with us, down to Melbourne airport for her flight home to Vancouver.
