Not able to save pic as JPEG after touching in Photomatix

Hi All,
I have a situation here. I have just installed Photomatix 4.2.4 and processed one bracketed image. But in Photomatix I have only two known file types TIFF and PSD (Photoshop Raw). There is no Jpeg. Even if I retouch the photograph in Photoshop CS3, while saving I don't find Jpeg file format. I have tried both the file types TIFF and PSD in Photomatix and tried to save in Jpeg after doing some processing in PS but with no luck.

The Jpeg option simply vanishes from Photoshop once I process the pic after doing some tone mapping in Photomatix

Anyone have some idea on this ?

Are the pictures in 16 bit? In photoshop you can go to "image-->mode---> 8 bit".
Once they are converted to 8 bit, you should be able to save them as jpgs.
