All of these pictures you've been posting on these canyons are beautiful. I hope I can visit them someday. You've done a great job.
The composition draws my eye into the scene so well that I think I'd prefer it if the photographer was not in the image.
Beautiful shot, but I agree with Mike. Once I spotted the other photographer, I couldnt get my eyes off him. That's an easy clone out, and would leaves us just wondering what is in that black hole.
I'm visiting the Grand Canyon with my dad next June and this is one of the places we plan on seeing. It's such a beautiful shot and I love how much detail you have managed to show in the weathering of the rock. However I have to say that I'm in the same boat as Kevin and Mike in that the photographer, once seen, is a little distracting.
Beautiful shot. The colours and textures are amazing.
Hah! A stand-off - see who takes the shot first and moves off, looks like he won
I like the composition.
Ah, that might be my fault I did say, in a previous image, that a human presence did at least give a sense of scaleOriginally Posted by Mike Buckley
It does achieve that, but I tend to agree that here, it doesn't work as well as a person, less hidden, staring up in awe at the formations might.
Or I could just be wrong!
