I like this version MUCH better, Nat.
It's almost "high-key"... her eyes look much better and brighter in this rendition, as well.

Beautiful Nat ... what a gorgeous girl. A lovely image and I dont mind the shadow either, although you could try to lighten it slightly to see your preference. The tones are nice as is the colour of the flower, but I might be tempted to do a slight crop of the top of her head. Other than that, a fabulous shot well done.

Thank you all! I tried to lighten the shadow with the dodge tool, but was unhappy with it...I think it needs to be addressed in the original shoot.....I will try again later with layers, and the mask tool......
