I like both of these very much and the 2nd is truly excellent. You might consider some "taming" of the loose branches of the bush at the left, or even a crop of the left side-I dont think you'd lessen the beauty of the tree with a left sided crop, and it would bring into a little more prominence that spectacular background.

I really like the second one as is. The colors in both are rich without being overdone.
Consider revisiting the first scene when there are no clouds in the sky or when the clouds are more like those in the second scene. There's something about the strong horizontal lines in the clouds that competes with diagonal slope of the land.

With the first one, I would consider cropping the left side to remove that area of plain blue sky which will make the remaining white cloud a lot more interesting. There is sufficient space to lose the same amount from the bottom.
