Mike, this is the best so far. I love the shapes of these objects together. It immediately made me think - curves of the female form on one side and the stronger male on the other. Love it!

Miguel: If you're asking how it was created, a diffuser that is larger than the black background is placed behind the background. A light that is also larger than the black background is shining through the diffuser to back light the subjects made of clear glass. For a detailed (some would say boring) explanation of the setup, see my posts at Crystal lit with dark background. The setup is also explained in the book, Light: Science & Magic.

Thanks for mentioning the intersections, Sharon. Changing the angle or overlap of the two subjects dramatically changes the shape of the light where the glass intersects. I'd like to think that someday I will be able to predict the affects of those changes, but I know better.
