Re: Another portrait
G'day Lunchy, you seemed to have captured her mood nicely with the top and bottom shots. I really like the bottom one because of that and the back ground doesn't distract me, the light is soft and composition is good. Nice work.

Re: Another portrait
Hi, Allen
Bottom image is the clear winner, methinks- very even lighting with just a hint of shadowing, simple, organic background that lets us concentrate on your model, very believable and pensive pose.
2nd image bit bit too contrasty, with some uneven shadowing, and a competitive background.
1st image has nice lighting, and good overall shot but you might consider some cropping above her head along with some fill of the more open and lighter gaps in the vines that pull our eyes up from your model.
Nice series.
Kevin

Re: Another portrait
thank you kevin, i understand bout the middle, and the top, i believe so to about the tighter crop needed once i think about it, but its for the model's acting portfolio and she said leave it as is, so i am And i thought the bottom would be the winner. Im going to print this one out for myself i think

Re: Another portrait
Allen, It took me a few moments to figure out that was her arm extended in image #1. I think if I shot this lady again, I would suggest that she not wear a bare shoulder dress...
