Need help with Lightroom 4, pls.
I've been working on a photo in Lightroom 4 and when I try to export it (save), I keep getting this message "Could not create a JPEG that met your limit of 100K bytes". I'm not sure what I need to do to keep this from popping up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Maggie

Re: Need help with Lightroom 4, pls.
Hi Maggie,
When you export an image you can tell Lightroom to dynamically adjust the JPEG compression so the final file size is not larger than a limit. It seems that your image cannot be made small enough to fit under your 100K limit. This is because Lightroom will alter the JPEG quality will not alter the pixel dimensions.
You need to change your export settings. Try Export... to bring up the export settings (do not use 'Export with previous' as this skips the settings page). By default the settings will be set to those you used last time. Scroll down the dialog and then either alter the dimensions to be smaller or get rid of the file size limit.
Once you have found an export setting you like you can save it for future use. You do this within the Export settings window.
