While walking around the FDR Memorial in Washington DC we came across this hawk. As we got closer the hawk did not move so we started capturing photos of it.

Beautiful image of a magnificent bird. Perfect exposure and focus. You might consider cloning out the shiny post top in the LL corner. You could make this your avatar.

Very nice! It's amazing that you saw it there and perched on a post that is so low to the ground. Do you by any chance have an image that provides space between the hawk's head and the tree branch in the background?
